My journey started in junior high school when I designed banner and sticker for a music event at my school. That was my first design used for a public purpose. I developed my design skills by learning design software and participating in design competitions. Later, I pursued a degree in product design to gain a deeper understanding of human behavior in the design field.
I have been working in professional design for over 7 years. I started as a graphic designer, and now I am a UI/UX designer at Pay2home, a fintech company based in Singapore. I create user-centered and visually pleasing designs, paying attention to details and being open to discussing ideas.
One of the new initiatives I have introduced in the office ecosystem is building a design system for the company’s new products, which helps ease the design handover between designers and developers. I have also focused on creating design documentation.
I collaborate with retail and marketing teams to meet user and business needs when developing product features. I also work closely with QA and engineer to ensure that all requirements and documentation are properly managed.
In addition to my product design work, I further developed my interest in design by joining design mentoring communities, both online and offline. On several occasions, I have also shared my knowledge in the design field by becoming a design mentor. I also enjoy capturing moments through my lens, such as birth documentaries and family sessions. I grew Ronawarna Studio as a hobby during my leisure time.
